Callie - April 3, 1994 - August 26, 2010

My dear, sweet Callie, the calico cat with the calico nose. You were my baby, my buddy, my sweetheart. We went through a lot together the past few years, with your megacolon (which we were able to control pretty well), diabetes (which we worked very hard to get into remission and were successful!), kidney disease (a pill a day and some sub-q infusions, all administered by mommy) and finally colon cancer. You hung in there for me as long as you could, but after the last few weeks were obviously more difficult for you, and you ate less and less and clearly were not enjoying life very much any more, it was time to say goodbye. I miss you, I love you. I will never forget.
