Cat Drooling
by victoria
(alvin,texas)
My cat had kittens over a month ago and now out of nowhere she has started drooling and has a little sore on her top lip that looks like a burn. She has her tongue sticking out with little sores on it and i don't know what it is. She has been sleeping a lot more than usual and urinates large amounts but few times. I don't have any money but I'm all for home remedies or any suggestions you may have for me.
I'm sorry, Victoria, but I couldn't recommend any home remedies for your cat. It sounds as if your cat definitely needs to be seen by a veterinarian. She could have been exposed to a poison which can lead to further very serious problems.
She could also have a serious mouth bacterial infection or serious viral infection. All of these things I mention require different treatments and only through a veterinarian exam could it be determined which your cat needs.
Have you tried a company called CareCredit? They have payment plans for veterinary care. Have you asked the vet if he will give you a reduced fee or a payment plan? Have you asked for help from your family and friends?
