Cat might be Sick

My cat has been walking around the house meowing all day. When i got up this morning she had pooped in front of the tv and then when i got home from the doctor she had pooped in front of the sofa. I cleaned her box thinking maybe it was too dirty to satisfy her, but she is still walking around looking for a place, what should i do?

If this is still going on and she has never behaved this way before and the litters are clean and readily available, I would take her to the vet and take a stool sample with you.
