that is ruffles.
Hi,
My cat, Ruffles, is 2 years old. She has pee problems. Her vet doctor told me that she has a stone. I gave her meds from the vet. It's still not working. I wonder will the stone removal work to stop pee? I am worried because I don't want to spend all my money if it is not going toIwork. What can I do with her? I hope it will help for answer..
I keep the litter box clean all the time. Ruffles rarely pees in the litter box. She keep peeing on the bed and couch. How can i stop her from peeing?
How does the stone make her to pee anywhere and not in litter box?
Hope it will be help lots to me if you answer all of those question. She is my baby! Thanks
Dear Erin,
If a cat has a bladder stone, it irritates the bladder wall, causing constant inflammation and even infection, which is very uncomfortable and leads to urinating outside the litter box due to the pain. All the medications in the world are not going to help if the stone is not removed.
The removal of the cat bladder stone along with antibiotics or whatever other cat medications are needed after that most often lead to the cat using the litter box again.
Good luck,
Dr. Neely
