Cat Urinating Every 30 minutes and Licking Herself Afterwards

For the last 2 days, my cat has been constantly urinating. She is literally going to the cat litter tray every 20/30 minutes and urinating, and then gets out and licks herself. What do you think is wrong with her?

The behavior you describe is most often a symptom of a cat urinary tract infection or inflammation. You said "she" and so I assume the cat is indeed a female. Male cats can become totally obstructed and need immediate attention or they will die.

Even though it is rare for a female cat to obstruct, she still needs to be seen by a veterinarian. They will analyze her urine to see if she has a feline bladder infection, inflammation, excessive urinary crystals, etc.

X-rays may also be recommended to find out if she has stones in her bladder or kidneys.
