Cats and Their Tongues

QUESTION:

What does it mean when my cat has her tongue sticking out of her mouth just a little?




ANSWER:

It could be nothing (just her habit), a little difficulty breathing, dental disease, misalignment of her teeth, jaw tumor, tongue tumor, any tumor of the mouth ...those are the most common reasons. I don't know her age or how long this has been going on so I would not be able to narrow it down more than that.
