Clumping Cat Litter
There are many advantages to using clumping cat litter. When your cat urinates in the litter box, the litter absorbs the liquid waste and forms easily removable clumps. This means that to clean your cat's litter box, all you have to do is remove the clumps and solid waste daily. You won't have to totally empty the litter box nearly as often as you would with non-clumping cat litter. Your cat will be much more likely to use the litter box because of the freshness. These type of litter is also excellent for odor control, as long as the waste is removed regularly. It is dust free, biodegradable, flushable, and non-toxic. Clumping cat litter comes in scented, unscented, flushable and non-tracking. There are also multiple cat formulas, which have larger concentrations of deodorizers. You may find that using this type of litter makes both you and your cat much happier!
WARNING: Do not use this litter for young kittens. There have been reports of young kittens getting this litter stuck in their paws and then licking it off. Little kittens have such small intestinal tracts that ingesting any amount of this litter can lead to intestinal blockages, which can result in death.
