Meant To Be
by: Anonymous

It is true...we don't always pick the animal, as much as they pick us. I truly believe they have that "sense" and can know a person's true heart.
As simple as it is and as much as we may need them, they need us even more.
Always happy to please and just wanting the simplest things...(besides food)Security and Trust most of all.

Boo Kitty Adopted Me
by: Anonymous

I am a senior citizen. I have owned animals, dogs and cats for many years. I was alone and very much in need of a "friend". I went to tha Cat Care Society of Denver. They are willing to give elders a free cat as long as the cat is at least five and you are able to take good care of it. When I got there I had my eye on a beautiful black lady. The staff told me that she was not a good choice because she didn't like people and she would kust run and hide. At the facitlity, the cats are allowed to roam free and stay with whichever cats thay like. I went into the room where Boo Kitty was and I sat down on a bench. Before I could even look at the other kittys Boo had jumped into my lap and was purring so load that the keeper in the next room came in and said "who's that"? To everyones surprise it was Boo. She adopted ME that day and she is always by my side. The staff calls from time to time to see how things are. It has been 2 years now.She is 7 and I am ??. It truly has been a love relationship!!!

Priceless Friend!
by: Mary Jo

Tommy, was meant to be rescued by my friend. I never owned a cat before meeting Tommy. He walks with pride and is always loyal to his owner. Sometimes things happen for a reason, when you see my friend and her Tommy. You know they were meant for a reason...pets are unconditional love.
