Does my cat have cancer?

My cat has had increasing weight loss and has had a decrease in activity. My kitty has also been loosing balance, and when she eats, it goes straight through her. I am scared that my cat has cancer or something and I really want to know what you think is wrong. Please help. She went from being a healthy, fluffy, beautiful cat to a really skinny cat with not much hair, My cat also has cuts on her legs from when she falls off of her window sill. I really want to know what you think could be wrong.

You haven't mentioned how old your kitty is, but irregardless, the cat illness symptoms you described could be indicative of a number of conditions. While cancer is certainly a possibility, feline hyperthyroidism, cat diabetes, kidney disease, and inflammatory bowel can all present with very similar cat illness symptoms, and are all very treatable.

There is a chance that your kitty could recover, but she needs an exam from a veterinarian, and possible bloodwork, to determine what is causing your cat's symptoms.
