Uses Frontline Plus for Cats!
A Frontline Cat, one that uses Frontline Plus for Cats, has long been my goal for my own cats and my clients cats if they need flea medication. It wasn't long after Frontline flea medicine was developed that I had personal experience with the product and quickly learned that a Frontline Plus Cat was indeed the front line in flea treatment for cats.

When she first called requesting a house call for her cats, she said that many of her cats had lost fur and had bald patches all over their bodies. She reported they were constantly scratching at their skin and seemed quite miserable. It sounded like severe feline allergies that urgently needed flea medication, but of course I had to see the kitties in person to know for sure. As soon as I entered the house, I was greeted by a number of cats and the sight of them literally made me gasp and become very saddened. I had seen many cases of flea bite dermatitis before, but never had I seen such devastating skin disease and on so many cats at once. Large amounts of cat fur was missing and bleeding scratches were all over the cats' bodies. It was obvious these cats were miserable. And SO many fleas. They were literally jumping around in plain sight. A quick once-over with a flea comb on a few of the cats revealed large numbers of fleas on everyone and all around the house. You may think immediately that this cat owner was cruel or terribly uneducated to allow this cat allergy to fleas to hurt her kitties so severely. I have to admit that was my first thought. We discussed bathing the cats, combing them regularly with a flea comb, and frequent vacuuming as I applied Frontline Plus flea medicine to each cat and advised her to do so every month year-round. I dispensed antibiotics and steroids for those cats with the worst skin inflammation and infection and left feeling sad, frustrated, and skeptical. Although I made other house calls to tend to her cats over the next months, I'll skip ahead to a year later when I was called out to give all the cats their annual exams. I was shocked. Pleasantly so. Every single Frontline cat had beautiful skin and full, shiny haircoats. I couldn't find a flea on anyone. Each had become a Frontline Plus Cat and they were very comfortable, healthy cats! It was a moment in my career I will never forget.
