Hi, I'm Dr. Neely and I've been an exclusively feline veterinarian for 18 years. From the time I was born, I was around kitties and can't remember ever not loving them. I've lived with feline friends all my life. At one time, I had 14! Now I have six. I attended veterinary school just to become a Cat Doctor and since the moment I graduated, I have limited my practice to cat patients. Needless to say, I have come to know a great deal about our little domesticated felines.

There are a few things that set this website apart from others. Probably the greatest difference is that everything you read here is written by me, an expert in the field of feline medicine and surgery. I have both a veterinary doctorate degree and the personal experience of a long-time cat owner and lover. Elsewhere on the web, you may find your questions answered by a veterinary assistant or well-meaning cat owner. I have tremendous respect for both. However, when you're worried about your cat, you want the most experienced, knowledgeable answer. Don't look for serious cat information just anywhere. In fact, don't just "Ask A Vet" - "Ask The Cat Doctor"!
