Kitten with Eye Shut

by marsha
(florida)

QUESTION

My cat was fine yesterday morning early. she is less than a year. her one eye is shut. there is no discharge or crust. she will open it occassionally. she is very tried and not herself . she is eating and drinking still. she is not playing

ANSWER

She needs to see a vet right away. It is always important to have eye problems checked at once. In addition, her fatigue and general "not being herself" is cause for concern.

Thank you,
Dr. Neely
