Kitten with Swelling Symptoms

I have been nursing a 2 week old kitten, and he is eating fine. The kitten pees and poops, but his penis and butt have become swollen. What could this mean? This kitten is the only kitten here and is kept alone.

Kittens can certainly get infections, but regular cleaning and lubricating the area with a product like Vaseline usually does the trick. Make sure you are helping your kitten to urinate and defecate often enough, clean the area with a warm, damp cloth, and apply a lubricant product as often as necessary. If the inflammation is not reduced by following these steps, or if your kitten shows any other signs of cat illness, a trip to the veterinarian would be advised.
