Moe, Moe, Moe, Happy Moemause!

by Mary Alice Minahan
(Ben Avon, PA)

I look good in Poinsettia, don't I?

I look good in Poinsettia, don't I?

Mohican is the coolest laid back cat you will ever come across. A cat of few meows, he tells his story through the expressions of his eyes. He believes the world was made just for him and he expects us all to pay homage to him by providing him belly rubs and long fur combings. For this he will dutifully kiss your hand. As I decorated for Christmas, Moe jumped into a bag of garland and made it his resting place for the night. There is no place live Moeville!

Christmas hazards
by: Anonymous

Moe is pictured with imitation Poinsettia; but please remember that the real plant is mildly toxic.
Other toxic plants, commonly brought into the home at Christmas include: mistletoe, English or Christmas holly, lilies, narcissus or daffodils. Christmas trees themselves also contain toxins; but it is uncommon for large quantities of Christmas tree to be consumed.
Monitor your pets' reaction to & interest in new plants carefully.
