Moving House

by Sarah
(Melbourne, Vic, Australia)

I have a 16 year old cat that has always been able to go in and outside when she pleases, she has also lived in the same house her whole life. I am now moving house and intend on taking her with me but I was hoping to get some tips to make the move the easiest it can be.
Thank you,
Sarah

Hi, Sarah,

I'm not sure if you mean tips for the actual trip or tips for how to help your cat adjust to the new house. In any event, please see Relocating My 18 Year Old Cat". There are also other articles on the website about this same topic. Please see our Table of Contents.

Thank you for writing and if you have further questions that are not on the website, please write again.

Best,
Dr. Neely
