My Cat Illness

by Natalie Camacho
(Chino,CA)

QUESTION:

My cat was sneezing and coughing during spring but now in May and June she only sneezes and coughs in the mornings.Just in the mornings.Should I be worried.

ANSWER:

Any time a new symptom develops that your cat has not previously demonstrated, it's best to have a veterinary examination. There are so many causes of sneezing and coughing in cats, it would be impossible for me to say if it's serious or not. A visit to the veterinarian could ease your mind or suggest a treatment if one is needed so that your kitty can stay healthy and live as long as possible.

Best Regards to you and your kitty,
Dr. Neely
