My cat is trying to meow but no sound is coming out. Is she okay?

Is this lack of meowing a new cat behavior? Was she once able to meow but now she can't?

Some cats meow, and others don't, but if your cat once meowed and is now not able to, you should bring her to a veterinarian for an exam.
