My Cat's Tongue is Attached To the Bottom of its Mouth
QUESTION:My cat can't stick its tongue out as it is attached to bottom of its mouth. It can eat and drink but finds it hard to clean herself.
She is 20 weeks old now, but we have only just realised. Will an operation solve this problem ?
ANSWER:All tongues are attached to the bottom of the mouth. I assume you mean her attachment is more than the usual. You should definitely have her examined by a vet. She may be able to live well without doing anything, or surgery may be required. Good luck.
