NICOLE

by Tresa
(CA)

My cat Nicole died July 14 2009. I can't stop crying. Nicole was 16 years old. I miss her so much. She died in my husband's arms Tuesday night.

Dear Tresa,

My heart aches for you. I know your pain. It is and will be a difficult time for you for awhile. I am so sorry. Hold on to the good memories. Be grateful she lived until age 16. Also, be thankful she died in you husband's arms which must have been soothing to her and comforting to you.

Don't be afraid or embarrassed to cry. You have lost a family member and it is normal to cry. It is part of healing. Only time will ease your pain, but it will happen, but of course you will never forget her or stop loving her.

My best to you,
Dr. Neely

Dear Tresa

I know how you feel. My cat of 17 years died in June of 2008. She was my best friend in the world and I cried for weeks. I was very sad for months, but a year later I finally can be at peace with it. 16 years is a long time for a kitty and she had a wonderful life with you! My heart goes out to you.

Thinking of you.
by: Margaret

Dear Tresa,

My heart grieves for you.

It is so hard when you loose a lovely cat. The pain does get easier in time, honestly.

Thinking of you.

Margaret.

My Thoughts are with you
by: Kirin Kat

Tresa,
I know what you're going through. I lost my Smokey Joe the first part of April. He was only five and had to be put down. FIV is not curable and he just went down hill in a matter of weeks. I was soooo sad and couldn't even sleep for weeks!~We were closest of friends, it was just me and him since my divorce and he helped me through the death of my mom. I am sure you will treasure memories like I have, it will take time!~ Give yourself time to heal and know that you are very fortunate to have had your kitty for that long!~I am with you in spirit and know that there is someone that cares about your feelings. Just remember, now your kitty and mine are dancing over the Rainbow Bridge!~
