Simba was rescued in July from horrible conditions when his previous parent took him to a groomer for flea infestation and matted fur and never came back to pick him up. He waited all day and all night and the next day and the next night. Finally, five days later the groomer finally got in touch with Simba's mom and was told she wasn't coming back for him. That poor angel with a kitten's heart of gold was locked in a cage wondering why no one loved him anymore.
The moment I laid eyes on him a month later, I knew he had chosen me to be his new Mommy. After all he'd been through and how neglected he was in his previous home, our little boy didn't grow to distrust people and opened his paws wide open for us to love & appreciate him like he always deserved. Since the few months we've had our Simba, I have leash trained him and take him to pet stores to look at the birds & fish and to the parks to climb trees and lay in the grass.
Since we venture outside of our home most weekends, I know he would be much more comfortable in a Sleepypod and really would enjoy the journey much more than in the small, uncomfortable carrier we have him in now.
