QUESTION

My cat is very unhappy . She is crying continually, deep growling, running, and has tail movements like wagging. I do not know if she is ill or unhappy.

Hi, Donna,

Unhappy cats do not generally act that way.

While the sight of another cat out the window can make cats act that way and a sudden itch from fleas biting can also produce behavior like that, I would be concerned that she is ill.

To rephrase that, yes she is probably unhappy, but unless you're absolutely sure it's one of the above situations that I mentioned, I suggest you have a vet check her out.

You're welcome to write back in the comment section and give me more information or ask further questions.
