Very weak kitten gone completely limp

by Jon
(Stanton KY)

My kitten is suddenly very weak and unwilling or unable to stand. He meows in pain, is not interested in drinking formula, and is about a month old. He was cool to the touch yesterday and today he holds head to left side and is completely limp, but still can ingest formula if fed with dropper.

Dear Jon,

Your kitten is seriously ill. If he is still alive when you are reading this, please RUN to the veterinarian right away, even if it means going to an emergency vet because none in your area are open! Your kitten needs immediate veterinary care if it isn't already too late.

Please read this article after this crisis has resolved so you will know in the future when your cat needs immediate veterinary care, so precious life-saving moments aren't wasted.

Regards,
Dr. Neely
