YouPet Social Network Reviewed is my evaluation of www.YouPet.com. If you’re reading this, I know you must feel as I do that our pets are such an important part of our lives.

I’ve met more than one pet owner that had pictures of their cat or dog in their wallet but none of their human kids!!!

Our pets are like our kids were when they were babies except in certain ways, they never grow up. They remain cute and cuddly, so we continue to carry their photos.

We talk about them to anyone that will listen. We beam with pride when we can share anything about them with fellow pet lovers whom we know understand their special meaning.

YouPet.com is a place to do just that. Make Your Pet A Star on YouPet.com! It is an online social network devoted to Pets and their Owners. True to their word, it is “a safe and informative place to meet other pet lovers and have fun exchanging pictures, videos, blogs, and having discussions on our forums, or chat live in our chat rooms. ”Meet Cool Pets and Cool People on YouPet.com!

The home page will briefly make you think you landed on Match.com by mistake. The deliberate similarity is extremely cute. You can devote an entire page to creating your own profile …actually yours and your pet’s, and at that point, the site looks a little more like a page out of My Space rather than Match. Create a Free Webpage for your pet! Your page can include messages from new friends, your own blog, videos, photos, forum, comments, reviews…pretty much anything you would want. Pets of most any kind are included. This is not just a dog and cat site. It’s nice to see bunnies and birds and reptiles and horses and ……the list is practically endless. Little touches like “go fetch” after the search box make the site endlessly entertaining.
