I will forever miss you Cookie Dough. He got ran over by a semi, and to this day my sister and I are afraid to let our outside cats go near the road. He was a loving kitty. He was soft and had such a cute meow. He was a large kitty, and liked to eat a lot, but he was a forever companion.

How he died was tragic. My sister was walking out to the bus stop in the morning, 5 minutes before the bus came. The neighbor was standing outside with her daughter and told my sister to cross the street, so she crossed the street and waited for the bus.

Shortly after she crossed the street, Cookie Dough ran out to the end of the driveway and crossed the street. I was not there to witness this, but when he crossed the street, a semi came and hit him, and my sister watched the whole thing. She cried on the bus and came home shortly after school started. I couldn't imagine how hard it must have been for her to see this, and she was only 9 years old.

Cookie Dough, you were a great cat, and I love you to this day, even though you are not with us. You loved anyone that came near you, and gave them a friendly meow. My mother always told us that there was a kitty heaven, and I hope you are there right now.
