Our Beloved Dusty July 1997 - January 22, 2013

Dusty was a family member and dear to our hearts. She touched everyone who visited our home. She was loved by all! We had her before the births of our two children. She actually grew up with my 15 year old daughter, who she was slightly older than.

She left this world about six hours after a party for my daughter's 15th birthday (at about 3:30 a.m., in my arms). She had been sick for about two months, so we knew her time was coming. Even knowing, it didn't dull the pain of her loss. We are crushed.

Dusty was an absolute joy, and I thank God for blessing us with her. She passed knowing she was loved and adored. I'm glad I came across this forum to express my grief, share my love for her with you all, and celebrate her Life. She is physically gone, but will never ever be forgotten!

Dusty, we love and miss you!!!!!!

I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved kitty, Dusty. I,too, had a wonderful cat, named Lily, who literally grew up with my two sons.We stopped at the Humane Society on a whim one day in 1991 and came home with the best little addition to our family that we could have ever hoped for. She was a joy and comfort to us all. Her memory lives on in our hearts forever, I'm sure as your Dusty does in the hearts of you and your family. My sincerest condolences.
