QUESTION
I just recently adopted a cat from the shelter. She often flexes her paws while laying down, alternating from left and right paw. She usually does this when she is comfortable. Should I be concerned? Thanks
Hi, Alice,
What you are witnessing is a perfectly normal behavior. Some call it happy-pawing, some call it making biscuits, others label it making muffins, kneading, or kneading dough. Whatever else we call it, I call it a HAPPY CAT. She's very content and obviously happy to be with you.
Congratulations for adopting your new friend!
